Pardon
From eugene's blog
Le pardon ne change pas le passe mais il enlargit votre futur.
Forgiveness doesn't change the past but it does enlarge the future.

Over Eight

Saw this couple with matching pants last Friday. Might be performers. But still, quite cool haha!
Got Adobe lightroom trial! Despite Rifdi saying that it's redundant, it's still fancy and stylo. Hohoho!

So I watched the Karate Kid (apparently known as BEST KID in South Korea. Wow) yesterday. Overall, it was a good movie. But something was missing though (no, not Pat Morita. HAHA).
Even though some might argue that it was what brought essence to the movie, Jaden Smith is kind of an, well, ass. In Roald Dahl's Dahlmanac 2, Roald Dahl stated something in the lines of make the villain worse than you can imagine so when he is defeated, the readers will get a good feeling or smth. Sure, the villain in the movie was a total wipe, fighting a new kid on the block for dancing so well. I mean, that was some sweet moves that he put up in front of the girl. Then him and his boygang attacked Dre (Smith's character) with some awesome kung fu moves. Repeat for the first hour.
Anyway back to the main character. Smith's character (or maybe himself in real life) is really annoying and big headed. Like if I was Jackie Chan I'd beat him up along with the other kids too. In the end, the bad guy (Cheng) looked more like a chivalrous, sportsmanly character when he decided to personally hand the trophy to Dre, who looks like a clueless, arrogant kid in comparison.
Despite the identity/character crisis in the movie, the training scenes were still awesome. The fighting scenes were awesome. And Jackie Chan's emotional scene was awesome too! Oh by the way, Jackie Chan speaks in a way that reminds us all of the "Confuscius Say" jokes. Which is kinda funny when he whips out his amazing one-liners.
Alright, playing tennis with Shaf tomorrow gotta sleep early! ish. Cya next time, world ;)

Battle for the sun

SINGAPORE, TAKE A CHILL PILL AND COOL DOWN A BIT AYE.
The weather has been a really big pain in the neck recently. Like last month or so we were all happy that rain fell down and cooled the area (a bit) but now it's gone back up again? The grass I step on CRACKLES. Who says global warming is a myth?
(According to Rifdi though, the heat is from the Marina Sands project with all the machines there. hot hot hot!)
Anyway went to see the choir today. Came late and then sat down for a while in the music room. They're okay I guess. After sitting there for a while I went into the store room to, well, secret. Then yeah spent the rest of the time there cause I dont even know how to look out for the choir? Went down at 10 for intensive.
O levels is in 2 days? I must concentrate and start to properly study. After this blog post. I promise.
Oh and I found my iPod earphones! Now I can lay in bed watching The Big Bang Theory without having to shift one side of the headphone so close to my eye that it starts to vibrate. I really need to invest in a good IEM. So please give this poor man some money c:
