Everyone should have a lift-me-up song, and this is probably mine. Go on, click the play button on the video. I mean, watching 3 middle-aged men sing isn't THAT bad when accompanied with awesome music.

I first stumbled upon this song a few years ago on Viviana's blog, where it was her first song on her autoplayed list. So it'll play everytime I visit the blog, and it stuck. Rediscovered it this year when Samuel asked me whether I listened to Take That, which got me listening to it again. It's such an exciting song!!

A lot of stuff happened these past two weeks. There was getting stuck in the school lift for 45 minutes, there was the mosquito-ridden world cup finals stayover at Yu Jian's place, there was seeing Gaurav and his girlfriend in Siglap area and there was Nicklim puking in class. But what better way to tell a story but through pictures? Yes, people, picdump post 'cause I'm too lazy to properly write these events out. Heheh.

I wanna watch Knight and Day!! There are like two of the prettiest people in it hahaha! And it's action comedy which is like an awesome genre whoooshhh. Anw I think I'm watching it with Johnlee this Saturday. Talk about preparing for Os -.-

Talking about Knight, here's a puzzle from professor Richard Wiseman's blog, which I follow very closely. The man wrote one of my favorite books, Quirkology, and constantly updates the blog readers on topics of psychology, magic and other weird things such as ghost photograph and the like. Every friday he posts up a Friday Puzzle, so go to his blog and bookmark it!

Anyway here's the quiz

A knight arrives at a castle carrying a lance that is five feet long. The guard tells him that no-one is allowed in the castle with an object that is over four feet long. The knight is a tad upset, but then has an idea. He goes into town, finds the local carpenter and asks him to make something. The knight then returns to the castle and the guard lets him in. Due to his clever thinking, the knight finds himself inside the castle with his lance. The lance is fully functioning, and has not been cut in away way. How is this possible?

Letter

A letter to the universe.

Dear Universe

Thank you for reading this letter. I am happy that you even manage to take some time off your busy schedule and attend to my problems. No matter how much i do for you (use less aircon, switch lights off), you still manage to give me problems. Today was my O levels, Universe, and a few things went wrong.

It started the night before, Universe. I couldn't sleep. Well now, you must be thinking "wooo big deal you couldn't sleep" but I am sure that if you felt the headache i had the next day, you'll complain about it too. I got prepared and was finally ready for bed at 11.30pm so i closed my eyes. After tossing and turning, I decided to go on twitter and tweet to my followers about my insomnia. After that, I tossed and turned even more. I decided to count sheeps (I WAS DESPERATE SSH). 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7....65, 66. I realized that counting sheeps wouldn't work so I counted backwards from 1000. 1000, 999, 998....723, 722. Wow. I'm counting a lot.

Time check: 2.30am.

Oh no. Being awake at 2.30am meant that I only had about 3 hours left to sleep and any normal human being would understand that that is an insufficient amount. I decided to sacrifice my neck comfort for rest and slept without a pillow cause it was hot? Finally got to sleep after a while.

O levels was fine bla bla bla it was okay I guess.

After O levels! I decided to watch HIMYM while waiting for Rifdi to photocopy ezlink for his DSA application. Sat on the 7th level bench there? After watching for like 5 minutes I realized that i've got a stomachache so i went to the toilet. Grabbed toilet paper. Sat on the seat. 1 minute passed...nothing. 10 minutes...nothing. WTH! Constipation for the lose man xP.

Anw went to submit our DSA form after that and saw yingxi there too! Hell i dont think i can get in but just trying out for fun. Everyone had testimonials and stuff!

Went home and watched sherlock holmes with Rifdi. His one liners are damn power man! Gotta watch it again some time soon haha. The way everything falls into place is just amazing! And again Robert Downey Jr plays a narcissistic character. Haha.
